Daystar's Connection with Christian Science:

In the 1980’s, Monte and Diane Powell, both life-long Christian Scientists, were approached by what is now called Daystar Northwest, a nonprofit charitable organization devoted to the cause of providing housing for worthy aged Christian Scientists, to see if Monte and Diane could assist in the development of a senior housing project to help them fulfill their cause.  The result is Daystar Retirement Village, a 110-unit senior living facility open to all faiths, but rooted in the principles of Christian Science.

Finding a place that you can call home, but also share ideas with other Christian Scientists can be a wonderful experience as you continue to get closer to God.  Here at Daystar, you can come live with other Christian Scientists, share ideas, and participate in Bible study groups.  We also provide transportation to the local Christian Science church as well as to Christian Science lectures.
