Office Manager

I have been the Office Manager at Daystar since December of 2010, moving here from Montana where I lived for many years.  I have been a Christian Scientist all of my adult life after first learning of Christian Science during my freshman year at Oklahoma State University. From then on I have been active in branch church membership, first in my hometown of Oklahoma City, serving on various church committees and on the Executive Board. 

A few years after graduating with a degree in Business Administration, I moved to Boston to work at The Mother Church headquarters.  Over the next several years I worked to become a supervisor and then manager of departments within the Christian Science Publishing Society.  I also served as First Reader of my branch church.          

With my wife Fran, I then move back west to raise a family, starting out in Colorado Springs where I worked full time as a Christian Science practitioner. A year after our daughter was born, we moved to Bozeman, Montana, to live close to Fran’s family. For seven years in Montana, I served as the state Committee on Publication, as well as a term as First Reader and on the Executive Board.          

I returned to the business world in 2007 as the manager of an order fulfillment center and warehouse for a company near Bozeman that owned several gift stores in the region, including two airport stores at one of the busiest airports in the state.          

I came to work at Daystar because of the special reward of serving senior citizens, including the residents who are Christian Scientists.
